Cloud Kingdom Interactive Trainer By R. Bubba Magillicutty Another 12-function trainer. This one was fun to do. It took a little while to track down all the things I had to change, but I think it was worth it. I've covered most things. Getting rid of the noise when you walk on fire would be nice, but you no longer take damage (you should be able to float over it anyway with high-fly.) Other than that, it seems to be quite complete. To use this thing, just unzip it to the directory with the game and run it instead of the hokey RUNME. This cheat only works on the EGA version. Most functions worked on the CGA, but a few didn't, so I decided not to support it. When you load the game you get an ANSI help screen on all the new cheat hot-keys. Here are more complete instructions: F1 and F2 are self-explanatory. The screen doesn't update until you lose health or time. These are for the mild cheater. F3 gives you another key. The screen isn't updated, but you have it. After clearing a level, all keys are taken away. F4 immediately finishes the current level as if you had cleared it yourself. Quite handy for boring levels. F6 causes you to create new floor when you walk over holes that would normally kill you. It's just like the object that makes allows you to create floor, except that you don't sparkle. F7 allows you to fly over most things, such as the enemy balls. You can still get diamonds and clocks, and arrows still affect you. Other than that, most things are flown over. F8 merely allows you to walk over holes. All other objects behave normally, unlike F7's high-fly. F9 gives you unlimited time. This negates both the normal countdown and the 10 ticks you lose every time you die. F10 makes you invulnerable. The 8-balls go through you as if they weren't there. And fire doesn't harm you, though you still here an obnoxious sound. Ctrl-X will get you back to the opening screens. It's a quick way to die. There may have been a similar function built in, but I couldn't find the key. Ctrl-Q will exit to DOS immediately. Before, you had to lose the game. Without Ctrl-X this sometimes took a long time. Now you can exit at any time. The grey plus on the numeric keypad turns on invincibility, unlimited time, and hole-walking. It turns on what F8, F9, and F10 toggle. This is for the serious cheater who doesn't want to muck around with tons of keys. It doesn't toggle on and off. If you want to turn one or all of the features off, hit F8-F10. Those are the dozen features of the cheat. I'm sure you'll find them useful if you want to play this game. It was a lot of work to go through for this game, which isn't all that impressive. But it's somewhat addicting in the way that many simple action games are. This should make playing a bit more tolerable. As usual, with this interactive cheat method, you can cheat as much or as little as you'd like (though it raises the memory requirement about 1.5K) Have fun! R. Bubba Magillicutty
