Technical requirements------------------------------------- This program uses 128k memory, it works from any disk drive & can also access the disk drive routines through #3d13 point. Use the "Turbo Sound" device with a second AY (made with the NedoPC scheme) for best audio experience. If you use the "Unreal Emulator" then you must turn on Turbo Sound emulation (Alt+F1 -> AY -> "T") & choose "AY" as sound coprocessor and If you don't have "Turbo Sound" device in your ZX Spectrum then you can hear the entries on an Ay-emulator for PCs ("pc/music player.exe") and then manually enter your votes in "voteform.txt". The following entries are "Turbo Sound" only: "Cast the Love on Everyone", "To Stars", "Warm Harmony", "Class04 (Maktone)", "Blow My Spirit" and "Now Trance!". - 2. Stereo configuration--------------------------------------- ABC stereo configuration is used by default. To change it press : "1" - ABC, "2" - ACB, "3" - BAC. - 3. Voting process--------------------------------------------- Competition consists of 4 categories: Original music, Cover music, Experimental sound and Graphics. You can see the categories below the screen. When you choose one of them you will see a list of entries in the right or left part of the screen. To vote for any of the entries you need to click on its name and enter your vote (0 to 9). - 4. Mouse controls--------------------------------------------- Program automatically detecets the presence of a mouse. To disable the mouse click on the button located on top/right of the screen. If you don't have a mouse but you casually activated it, press [G] to force mouse deactivation. - 5. Saving and loading your vote------------------------------- You can save your vote at any time, just press the "Save" button which is located on the top middle part of the screen. Before you save it you need to enter some data (name, group, city, etc.). A file "voteform.t" will be generated or overwritten (if it already exists) with your vote data. - 6. Disk operations ------------------------------------------- ATTENTION: disk operation errors are not processed. Please be careful and check that disk "write protection" is removed. Also the disk must contain 10 sectors of free space and less than 128 files. In other way save process will fail. - 7. Work with the emulator ------------------------------------ If you're using an emulator, please don't forget to keep a TRD or SCL image file after voteform saving in AtoyForm and to extract voteform file from image. You can do this with Spectrum Navigator or special plugins for your file commander. - 8. Для полноценного прослушивания музыкальных работ Ваш спектрум должен быть оснащен платой "Turbo Sound" с 2-мя "AY", собран- ный по схеме от NedoPC. Если вы используете "Unreal Emulator" не забудте включить "Turbo Sound" (Alt+F1 -> AY -> "T") и выбрать тип звукового сопроцессора "AY" (поскольку большинство работ написанны именно под "AY"). Если ваш ZX Spectrum не оснащен платой "Turbo Sound", то про- слушать работы написанные под "Turbo Sound" вы можете на пц при помощи "AY Emulator" ("pc/music player.exe") и далее вручную прописать оценки в файл "voteform.t". Turbo Sound используют следующие композиции: "Cast the Love on Everyone", "To Stars", "Warm Harmony", "Class04 (Maktone)", "Blow My Spirit" и "Now Trance!". - 2. Раскладка каналов ----------------------------------------- По умолчанию программа преобразует все копмозиции под расклад- ку ABC. Сменить раскладку можно нажатием клавиш "1" - ABC, "2" - ACB, "3" - BAC. - 3. Работа с мышью -------------------------------------------- Программа автоматически определяет наличие мышки. Отключить мышку можно кликнув в киноку расположенную в правом верхнем углу экрана. Если у Вас нет мышки, но вы случайно её активировали, то принудительное выключение осуществляется клавишей "G". - 4. Процесс голосования --------------------------------------- Конкурс состоит из 4-х категорий: Original music, Cover music, Experimental sound и Graphics. Их наименования указаны внизу экрана, после выбора любой из них, в правой или левой половине экрана развернется окно со списком названий работ. Для того, чтобы проголосовать за какую-либо работу, Вам нужно кликнуть курсором в ее название, после чего выбрать оценку из центрального столбца, от 0 до 9. - 5. Сохранение и загрузка состояния --------------------------- Вы можете в любой момент сохранить своё положение голосования. Для этого нужно нажать на слово "Save" , расположенное сверху по середине экрана. Перед записью состояния на диск вы должны ввести свои данные (имя, группу, город и т.д.). После заполнения личных данных, программа проверяет наличие на диске файла "voteform.t", если файл обнаружен то запись состо- яния происходит в тело файла , если файл отсутствует то он бу- дет создан. - 6. Работа с диском ------------------------------------------- Дисковые ошибки не обрабатываются, поэтому следите за тем, чтобы "защита от записи" была снята или отключена. На диске должно быть менее 128 файлов. Для сохранения voteform необходимо иметь как минимум 10 свободных секторов. - 7. Работа с эмулятором --------------------------------------- При работе с эмулятором, после записи состояния не забудьте сохранить образ диска (trd, scl), после чего скопируйте файл "voteform.t" и отправте на наш e-mail. - 8. Original music - authors should write their own composition. 2. Cover music - authors should make a Cover or a Remix of any other composition. 3. Experimental sound - the sound of the composotion should not be similar to traditional ZX-Spectrum AY music. Remixes of other computers music are also supported. 4. Graphics - any style, any theme. ---------------------------------------------------------------- To vote on a PC: 1. Unpack the archive. 2. Start " music player.exe " which is in "pc" folder (it is a player for ZX Spectrum Music Files). 3. You can drag the three playlists directly to the player or open them in the player (with "L"). Press "E" to see the playlist window. After listening you can vote for the entry using number from 0 to 9. Open the "voteform.txt" and put the vote in the [ ] part of the line where the song is listed. It would be good if you voted for all entries, but you don't have to. If you don't then keep the file for future votings. To view the graphics you can use any viewer, the supplied one is in the folder "PC" named "graphics viewer.exe". ---------------------------------------------------------------- To vote on a real ZX Spectrum or the emulator: 1. Unpack the archive. 2. Go into the "zx" folder, put the image file "atoy2K7.trd" on a floppy disk or open it in the emulator. 3. Follow the instructions in "readme.txt". ---------------------------------------------------------------- Competition for spectators (participants of voting): In this competition you must guess the 3 prize-winning places in each of the competitions. Open the "winners.txt" file and choose who will win the first three places of each competiton. The winner will be the one whose votes will be closest to the actual winners of all competitions in Antique Toy 2007. Orginal music - авторы должны были написать оригинальную авторскую композицию. 2. Cover music - авторы должны были сделать Cover версию или Remix на любую композицию любого исполнителя. 3. Experimental sound - задача авторов заключалась в написании музыкальной композиции по звучанию максимально не похожей на традиционную спектрумовскую AY музыку, допускались ремиксы с других компьютерных платформ. 4. Graphics - Сюжет, жанр, стиль работы любые. Голосуйте за работы на свое усмотрение. Но все-таки постарайтесь оценивать работы комплексно и по возможности учитывать на ско- лько автор справился с поставленной в том или ином конкурсе задачей. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Для голосования на PC: 1. Распакуйте данный архив. 2. Зайдите в папку "pc" и запустите файл "music player.exe" (это проигрыватель музыкальных файлов для ZX Spectrum). 3. "Перетащите" на него любой из трех плейлистов, либо откройте их из самого плеера (клавишей "L"). Просмотреть окно плей- листа вы можете нажав клавишу "E". После прослушивания любой из композиций вы должны поставить ей оценку от 0 до 9. Для этого откройте файл "voteform.txt" найдите там назвние прослушанной работы и в "[ ]" поставьте вашу оценку. Таким образом желательно проголосовать за все работы, разу- меется вам не обязательно это делать за один присест. Поэтому не забывайте сохранять файл с вашими оценками "voteform.txt". Графические работы расположены в папке "4. graphics" для их просмотра вы можете использовать любой просмоторщик графики, либо воспользоваться тем что находится в архиве в папке "pc" ("graphics viewer.exe"). ---------------------------------------------------------------- Для голосования на ZX Spectrum или эмуляторе: 1. Распакуйте данный архив. 2. Зайдите в папку "zx", сохраните образ диска (atoy2K7.trd) на дискету или откройте его в эмуляторе. 3. Для этого после прослушивания и просмотра всех работ откройте файл "winners.txt" и выберете в каждом конкурсе по три работы , которые по вашему мнению победят, и проставть им места (1, 2 и 3). Победителем данного конкурса считается учасник чья анкета ока- жется ближе точнее всех к офинальным результатам Antique Toy 2007.
