this is phoenix, typing at the frankfurt flughafen!  (that's where the planes are)  and this is me typing again, three weeks later
at blockparty, because they didn't play my entry at breakpoint.

first off, i want to mention that this is my first official music release in TEN YEARS.  holy crap, it's been too long.  ok, i did a
demo theme in 2000 and some unfinished ITs in 1998-99, but (sorry, distracted by pretty blonde walking by) i never truly picked up
on the windows post-tracker programs like buzz or renoise.  but, i figured i could work with an impulse tracker clone, post-process
it like i did the mods for mindcandy 2, and come up with something releaseable.

for the IT clone, i went with chibitracker.  it's nice to finally have the order list on the same screen as the pattern data.  
but oh god, it has a MAJOR bug.  sometimes, when deleting rows from a track, it stops adding new data, anywhere.  gotta save and 
reload to get going again.  schism tracker was even worse with unacceptably crackly sound.  don't get me wrong, i appreciate free, 
open-source software, but something that actually works reliably under windows would be nice after all these years. maybe renoise
next time.

most of the drum samples were made by gd, using garageband.. thanks!  all the non-drum samples and vocoder are courtesy of my mighty
little microkorg.  so this is the first time i ever a) made my own samples, and b) made vocals, kind of.

big thanks to 4-mat's "vertical" and lizardking's "world of fantasy" for inspiration.
