under MacOS (AArch64) run:

At first you will be rejected due to a security issue, open System preferences go to File vault, 
and select "Open Anyway". You will be rejected once again because libass.dylib is not allowed. 
Go again to the File Vault and select "Open Anyway" once again. After that the demo will happily run.
