In memory of my beloved cat Spot - Who
was by my side up until the four last
patterns - she passed away on 19:th of
June 2024 and left a huge emptiness in
my heart.

It took a lot of effort and will power
to make this track complete, without
her purring away right by the keyboard.

Composed with TTRAK Beta v1.04,
exported to SNDH and compressed with
Pack Ice v2.40, validated with SndPlay
v1.51, all on real hardware.

Or as Mark from Blink 182 once put it:
"Life is too short to last long!". So.
Here is a huge homage to that spirit.
My personal goal with this song is to
FUCKING SHRED IT with the Atari ST YM
chip. We all need more power chords
and ear tearing west coast punk-rock
harmonies.

The idea to do chip-punk music has
been in the back of my mind for many,
many years, and I finally got to
realize it with this master-piece of
happy-go, but serious, song by the
wonderful artists Travis Barker,
Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Aaron
Rubin of Blink 182 in their true
reunion album from 2023. Mark had
suffered a serious cancer, and Tom
had lost his way into very shady
places and Travis was in a serious
plane crash. But it took all that for
them to get together again. Let's not
be as drastic as sceners, please!!! <3

As usual; i HATE conventionalism - And
this song won't provide you with ANY of
your daily blipp-blopp arpeggio fixes.
I made the most out of the Buzzer and
Timer effects to create real, distorted
power-chords instead of interleaving
notes. Also I emulate the vocal
harmonies from the original using the
same technique. Which showed to be a
PITA with the YM chip, and how it works
and how different channels interfere
with each other. About 50% of this song
will provide you with 5 voices
polyphony on the 3 channels the YM
provides.

Also T.O.Y.S. and we're finally back
together in some form. This makes me so
full of joy and I completely adore it
and value it immensely... I hope that
the future can bring more releases.

So - Here is a Cover entry. If I'm
